Shanghai Disney Resorts is Disney's sixth theme park worldwide and the first one in mainland China. This project celebrates the 1st anniversary of Shanghai Disney Resorts. I was responsible for the design and development of the medallions.

NINE DRAGON® Table Placemat
This is a commercial project for Nine Dragon Restaurant at Disney World.
In order to disseminate Chinese culture and knowledge, this table placemat is attractive for both children and adults, which is an effective strategy to promote the brand.

This year is 2047, and we live in a world of fear and desperation. People fight against facial recognition because it is especially easy to abuse without any consent.
Everyone must hide their face to protect from surrounding facial detection systems. In this world, should we show our real face?

On The Road

ON THE ROAD is not only my personal design project, but also a meaningful and effective way to look back at this year and reexamine what design is about.

Today people always think smartphones will make us all antisocial. Lots of people in subways had been looking at their phone. I found the top picture and it was a big shock to me because before mobile phones, people still only pay attention to their newspapers and books. Therefore, We can’t blame this phenomenon on the technology. Technology is not a thing, it is a behavior we have become accustomed to.
Memory is Memory
Exploded Chinese Language stems from my favorite poem The Deer Enclosure by Wang Wei. Hot glue is a fast track to metaphor—about how memory is being shaped in a short time.
Dissembled vintage Kodak camera represented how memory disappears from the old time.
In a sense, memory is a form of meeting, and forgetfulness is a form of freedom.
